The Bastrop Jackson Abandoned Mine Land (AML) Reclamation Project was Mitigation Resources’ first reclamation services project for the Railroad Commission of Texas. The Bastrop Jackson site consisted of Priority I subsidence features of varying degrees of danger. The site was experiencing subsidence on two residential properties. Utilizing our in-house construction team and equipment, Mitigation Resources backfilled subsidence features with excavated topsoil stockpiles and designed, constructed, and surveyed a channel to allow surface water drainage, and revegetated the backfilled areas.
