Emily came to Mitigation Resources in 2018 after gaining eight years of experience doing environmental work. She is currently our market specialist, and her main responsibility is doing market research and analysis. Before joining our team, Emily earned her environmental science degree from Texas A&M University, then worked as an environmental health and safety manager in an oilfield, followed by a similar position with an ammunition company.
Emily’s first experience with the NACCO family of companies came years ago when she had an internship with North American Coal. What brought her back was the values of our company: “I can be proud of the company I work for and the people I work with.” She enjoys how her role encourages her to be creative while making a positive impact on the environment.
