Corey Sadowsky

Stream Restoration Engineer

Corey Sadowsky joined the Mitigation Resources team in September 2022, but had previously worked with the NACCO Natural Resources team for 12 years.

Corey rejoins the NACCO family to design streams for our mitigation banks and construction planning. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineer from the University of North Dakota and has completed four levels of Rosgen fluvial geomorphology and natural channel design courses.

He has experience as a project manager for ecosystem restoration projects, as well as mine planning, engineering design for our mines’ civil structures, and permitting.

Corey feels this industry has great appeal to all: “I think when someone has a connection to nature, they can better understand the importance of what we do,” he said.

In his free time, Corey enjoys cycling, woodworking, hiking and traveling.
